You've
heard the rumors, now believe them! No, MistaMil is not a MMA
fighter now nor is Def J partaking in major underground casino heists.
MistaMil & the L22 Fam have
announced their official comeback! After 3 years without a single show or
release, Mil recently announced his return to
complete his long-awaited second album Lost In Chinatown. The
album is said to be 50% complete, but Mil has decided to scrap some of
the
previously leaked tracks while also putting production on hold. While
Mil sets his own project aside, it is reported that he and fellow partner Def J
are teaming up once again to begin work on the The Owners Choice, which is
the followup to their last popular installment, The Owners Mixtape (2006). Plans
for the project include brand new songs from the L22 Fam, unreleased
tracks, and of course work from there closest affiliates. Mil said that
there
will be many surprises on the upcoming project, including some surprise
guests from L22's past lineups over the years. A few words from the man
himself ...
"This new project will give me, Def
J, Meesh and the rest of the Fam the opportunity to win back the hearts
of our
true & loyal fans. It's been a long time since any of us have put a
damn thing out, and if I just come back out of no where and say 'you ain't seen me in a while but hey,
here's my new shit, check it out!' without even givin' people the chance to warmup
to me, that'd be outright silly. I love our fans for stickin' with us
throughout
the years, but in a sense, I feel that I didn't stick with them. I
definitely owe them, big time. So this new thing me & J are workin' on will
give us a chance to take our spot back. Let the fans know we haven't
forgot about them, and give them that old 100%
pure Deuce Deuce sound and even more! You'll be surprised to see what we have in store. It's been a long
time comin', and we thank each & every one of ya'll for your
patience and support. We will not let you down,
